SDH, PDH transmission networks, digital microwave communication and systems for data transmission along extra high voltage (EHV) lines are the foundation of TTC MARCONI solutions. These networks can also be used as high-speed, multimedia and highly flexible environments for integrated data, voice and video transmission.
The PCM30U-OCH transmission system was specifically designed to establish transmission paths between EHV line protection devices, as well as provide a secure medium for the transmission of commands. It also safeguards the automatic synchronisation of energy blocks (duplex 50 Hz signal transmission). The system is primarily designed for transmission via EHV optical fibres, but can also utilise standard E1 and E2 or E0 links via PLC systems. As well as the transmission of line protection signals and commands, it also enables the transmission of voice and data signals supporting all standard interfaces.
